TTNET contributes to society with the works of sponsorship it carries out in many areas primarily in football, education, music and sectoral events.

Turkey's leading Internet service provider TTNET started to bring the SMEs, which provide the basis of the country's economy, together via the "Global SME Platform".

For the "Global SME Platform" meetings, which are implemented by the cooperation of TTNET İŞYERİM, Capital and Ekonomist Magazines and which aims to specify the problems of the SMEs and find the solutions, the cities of Konya, Denizli, Kayseri and Gaziantep were determined for the year 2009.

In the meetings conducted with the participation of Turkey's and world's leading management consultants, both administrative and financial problems of the SMEs are discussed. Moreover, via the surveys, SME's are monitored.

SME owners from all around Anatolia may participate in the Global SME Platform to be held in Konya in April, in Denizli in May, in Kayseri in September and in Gaziantep in October.

The first meeting of the "Global SME Platform", implemented by the cooperation of TTNET İŞYERİM, Capital and Ekonomist Magazines, was held in Konya in 6 April 2009.

In the activity held in Konya Dedeman Otel with the title of "Time for Change in Family Companies", opening speeches were given by TTNET, Konya Chamber of Commerce and Capital-Ekonomist magazines.

In the activity, which received a great attention from SME's, businessmen coming together in Konya benefited from the experiences from TTNET Corporate and SME Sales Manager Emre Avcı, Pegasus Airlines Board Chairman Ali Sabancı, Head of the Family Business Network Olivier de Richoufftz and Turkven Private Equity Partner Göktekin Dinçerler.

There are also surveys and books research to pave the way for the SME's with the meetings conducted with the Global SME Platform. Within this context, in order to gain information regarding the views of SME's on economy and their evaluations of the market, a survey for "SME's Economic View" was conducted amongst the Global SME Platform members and the Company Doctor book of M.Rauf Ates was published.

The second meeting of the "Global SME Platform" with the sponsorship of TTNET İŞYERİM was held in Denizli on 25 May 2009.

In the activity held in Denizli Anemon Otel with the title "Growing in a Hard Period", opening speeches were given by the Head of Denizli Chamber of Commerce Müjdat Keçeci, Türk Telekom Marketing Communication Director İsmail Bayazıt and the Executive Director of the Capital-Ekonomist Magazines Rauf Ateş. In the activity, which received a great attention from SME's, businessmen coming together in Denizli benefited from the experiences from TTNET Private Customer Gain and Loyalty Director Boran Çelikkol, Garanti Bank General Director Ergun Özen and Turkven Private Equity Vice General Director Kerem Onursal.

There are also surveys and books research to pave the way for the SME's with the meetings conducted with the Global SME Platform. Within this context, in order to gain information regarding the structures of family companies and their views on the future, a survey for "Family Companies" was conducted amongst the Global SME Platform members and the Corporate Management and Family Companies book of Dr. Haluk Alacaklıoğlu was published.

Turkey's leading Internet service provider became the sponsor of the movie A.R.O.G, whose scenario was written by Cem Yılmaz.

A.R.O.G, written by Cem Yılmaz, directed by Cem Yılmaz and Ali Taner Baltacı, and in which Cem Yılmaz, Özkan Uğur, Özge Özberk and Ozan Güven starred in, hit the theatres on 5 December 2008. Written as a follow-up for G.O.R.A and taking the spectaters to a journey in the stone age, A.R.O.G especially attracted the young viewers intensely.

In parallel with its vision of meeting its leadership responsibility of making Turkey an Internet society via informative activities for SME's,Turkey's leading Internet service provider TTNET became the main sponsor of the panel titled 'The Impacts of the Global Crisis on the Economy and the Ways Out' held by the Marmara Federation of Employees on 29 November 2008.

The panel, which TTNET supported in order to contribute to the development of Turkish economy by helping small and medium sized enterprises by including the opportunities provided by the Internet in their lives, was held in Topkapı Eresin Otel.
